The frame of the Merle Walnut Armchair is made of beechwood in a weathered walnut finish. The bamboo-inspired chair has loose box cushions covered in a Finn Safari upholstery fabric that can be flipped, which is recommended from time to time. Design details of note are the fully upholstered seat deck and latch clips on the top that hold the back cushion in place. By wrapping the arms and back in upholstery, the chair is very comfortable for the human form. Barry Goralnick says of this design, "Faux bamboo has been popular for centuries, from Louis XVI to Billy Baldwin, the element has been found in many lavish designs."

• Fabric care: Spot clean only with a water-free dry cleaning solvent. Pretest a small, inconspicuous area before proceeding. Do not saturate. DO NOT USE WATER. Pile fabrics may require brushing with a non-metallic, stiff bristle brush to restore appearance. Cushion covers should not be removed and dry cleaned. To prevent overall soiling, frequent vacuuming or light brushing with a non- metallic, stiff bristle brush to remove dust and grime is recommended. When cleaning a spill, blot immediately to remove spilled material. Clean spots or stains from the outside to the middle of the affected area to prevent circling. Overall cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended.

Artwork is made-to-order. Please allow for at least three weeks for processing and production.

CUSTOM UPHOLSTERY

Custom upholstered items are made-to-order and lead times may vary substantially. Please allow at least 8-12 weeks for production, and an additional 4 weeks for shipping and delivery.

ALL ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE. Please ensure that you inspect your items thoroughly upon delivery. All items being shipped to a receiving warehouse must be inspected upon receipt.

On rare occasions, you may encounter transit damages to merchandise or defects in manufacturing. Should your shipment incur any damages or defects, please contact our customer service team for assistance within 48 hours of delivery. Submissions after 48 hours are subject to review.
